Details on FinTech Nations Hackathon - How and When to Submit Your Work
We are excited to have launched the Global FinTech Hackathon.
Submissions starts on March 1st and will be due on or before Friday, March 12 at 2:00 PM (GMT +2). Participants will compete for prizes worth of $100,000. Winners will be announced on our live session on Sunday, March 14th.
Only submissions uploaded to the FinTech Nations Hackathon on Devpost including a 3 min video will be considered for prizes.
Judging Criteria: Submissions will be evaluated by a team of judges on the basis of the creativity, ethical considerations, practical viability, social impact, technical complexity, innovations and design & implementation.
Creativity
How creative is the project? Does it inspire people and allow them to build and create in their own communities?
Ethical Considerations
What could go wrong? How could the project be misused? Has the team considered this?
Practical Viability
Is the idea feasible, does it have economic and societal value, and is it sustainable?
Social Impact
How impactful is the idea? Can it impact the lives of many people in a significant way?
Technical Complexity
Is the project technically impressive? Complex? How technically sophisticated / advanced / elegant was the solution?
Innovation
How innovative / creative / unique is the idea? Was there a novel approach applied to solve the problem?
Design & Implementation
Does it work? Is it implementable? Did the team think about the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX)? Was the product designed with humans in mind?
